Below are some writing samples or other school projects that I have completed during my time at Northwest. These projects demonstrate problem-solving, critical-thinking, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

Athelite Budget Project

For my Cost Accounting class I and team of two other classmates were assigned to develop the master and supporting schedules for a manufacturing company for the upcoming fiscal year. This project consists of a master budget with supporting annual and monthly sales and production schedules and includes graphics to assist with presentation.

Audit Plan Project

This team project was completed for my Auditing class alongside two other classmates. In this project we took the role as an audit team planning an upcoming audit for a real publicly traded company, which for us was Allstate. This project required us to understand the industry, appropriately assess and set risks, and conduct preliminary analytical procedures including previous and competitor data.

Persuasive Letter

This persuasive letter comes from an assignment from my Managerial Communications class. This assignment had us write a persuasive letter to our Representative about an issue that we were passionate about, had us present arguments backed with facts, and asked our Congressman to take action.

Eagle Scout Project

For my Eagle Scout Project, I decided to organize a book drive to collect new and used books of all types for the Springs of Maraah Library in the Philippines which had lacked all sorts of books for their residents. Through local donations and support from schools and libraries we collected and shipped over 500 books.
